PTE's Festival of New Works!

I'm really excited to be involved in Prairie Theatre Exchange's Festival of New Works (previously the Carol Shield's Festival) again this year! In the past I've had some Fringe previews and performed as part of Manitoba Theatre for Young People's Creators Unit, but this year is different. First of all, all members of PTE's Emerging Playwrights' Unit will have brand new scenes performed during the Opening Night of the festival. And secondly, Sarasvàti Productions is staging a reading of my two act play A Fine Line!

I've never had a full reading at the festival before, and this play has also never been seen by an audience. Tatiana Carnevale is directing a great cast of seven up and coming actors: Joshua Balzer, Hera Nalam, Matthew Paris-Irvine, Robert Piche, Anaka Sandhu, Amanda Shymko, and Sophie Smith-Dostmohamed. I can't wait to receive feedback from those in attendance to help me move this play on to the next stage of development.
